Lux Labels n Luv

I recently went to a boutique with my cousins in Virginia Beach, VA where I fell in love with many pieces. The store was called lux labels n luv (luxlabelsnluv.com) where the owner has vintage pieces, custom designs, and a t-shirt line. I loved absolutely everything in the store. I had a little party on my wrist today, I had on a premier bracelet, Michael kors watch, and a finger armor ring. It's all about over accessorizing right now whether it's your hands or neck, accessories are a must. I wouldn't over do it by blinging out both my arms and neck at the same time but I would have fun with this trend. Check me out today with a little arm candy

Culturally inclined DC

I recently went to DC, which isn't much of a vacation since I live in VA lol, but it's a new city. Any who, went to DC and actually got to experience some culture. I went to the national African Art Museum where I found some amazing FASHION artifacts. No need to explain, I'll let you view the pieces your self. Mindful that some of these are hundreds of years old and notice how they could be very much be relevant today...

My daughter, Heaven is so amazing. It stuns the hell out of me how fashionable she is at only 3 years old. I will take some credit for this outfit but be sure to look at much more of her styles.

Here Heaven has on a pink body suit, Levi shorts, thigh high socks, and some rugged boots by Jack and Jill.

Some of you may or may not the quirky sisters behind some of your favorite celebs eye wear. Sisters Merrilee Lichtenstein Cohen and Rachel Cohen-Lunning have designed glasses for everyone from Lady Gaga to Gucci Mane to Grace Jones to Beyonce just to name a FEW. I absolutely love their imagination and creativeness. (sisters below and three of my favorite eye accessories they created)

I love this lady. Her style is so original and she is unique. Recently, she dyed her hair gray and I know your thinking 'wtf' but no give a chance. Even though this has been done before i.e. lady gaga, I think her pulling off this bold fashion statement is one for the fashion books. Check it out.

My best dressed picks from the golden globes are Sofia, Charlize, and Angelina!!

Sofia's mermaid Vera Wang dress looked amazing complimenting her curves and the Color also looked amazing as well.

Charlize looked stunning in this Dior couture gown, I absolutely lived it.

Angelina looks drop dead gorgeous weating Versace!! I can see why she was named the sexiest woman alive. She's looked classy, very chic, and of course very very sexy.

Spring Trends 2012

spring is around the corner and you know what that means, more fashion... and of course trends. lets go through some trends in no particular order but shown below.

-midriff shirt; its all about showing of the midriff area this spring,not the whole entire stomache but slight skin think Cher from clueless circa the 1990s for more of a reference.
-another big trend this season is the 20s insired pieces from long pencil skirts,solid pantyhose, and fringe dresses. The movie The Big Gatsby influeced alot of the runway looks this season from chanel to gucci.
-another trend to look out for is a more 'clean cut' look for women; think about channeling your inner 'stepford wife'. looks like audrey hepburn in breakfast at tiffanys, style icon grace kelly, and the famous first lady of style, Jackie-O.
floral is making a comback, im talking 'WALL PAPER' decked down in floral. its alot of key pieces this season that is nothing but floral prints, a flower explosion.
-some more trends i would like to point out is the return of the block heel, tailored suits, nude lipstick, heavey mascara and liner, loafers, garter belts, thigh high socks, collared shirts, blazers, and silk scarfs.

Lindsay Lohan for Philipp Plein

I don't care how many times Lohan gets arrested she will always be one of my favorite people. Even though I don't think this bad girl is quite ready to turn good I think she's looking quite amazing lately. 1st gracing the cover of playboy and doing an amazing spread Lohan isn't done yet. The actress recently has signed a deal with German designer Philipp Plein as the new face of the line. One work STUNNING.
